How to place an order:

• On April 25th, 2023 at 10:00AM EST you will have access to the custom order section on my shop. Orders are first come, first served. Reserve your own custom order by filling out the form and paying all amounts in full.
• Prior to April 25th, a list with sizes and corresponding prices will be posted here. Please join the mailing list for priority access to all updates.
• This commission block will run from April 25th - July 7th. Once all spots are full, custom orders will close until the next opening for Winter 2023. Last year, custom orders sold out within less than a day, so set your reminders and be here before spots are full!

Specifications for custom orders:

Pricing is a flat rate based on the size of the piece, and includes all elements you wish to have incorporated into your design. Upon placing your order, there is a required form for you to fill out to specify any details. You may add text, names, dates, background imagery, merge more than one photo together, or ask for a theme such as foresty, floral, mushrooms, multiple animals, etc. Artwork will be completed in Hannah's style of work. Please note: people portraits are not a commission option. Please view the Gallery page, or instagram (@hannahveiga.studio) to view Hannah's portfolio. Within 1-3 business days of placing your order, Hannah will be in touch through email to further discuss your order. She will create a digital compositional sketch, which will then be sent to you for your approval prior to beginning your piece. The sketch represents outlines and placement of your desired concept, shading and finer details will be rendered on the wood itself.

Wood & Finishes:

A variety of cherry and maple cuts will be available to select from depending on your order type. Every piece is sanded to 320 grit to ensure a super soft-luxe feel. Pieces can be finished with an oil based finish which will protect the integrity of the wood & artwork, or you have the option to keep the wood in its natural state. The oil will deepen the hues of the wood with a satin finish. Hannah does her best to provide an accurate size estimate, however she works with live edge wood which varies in shape, grain and bark variation. No two pieces will be the same which makes your new piece of wood burned art even more unique.

Payment:

All amounts are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and to be paid in full to purchase a custom order. An order confirmation will be sent to your email. Most payment types are permitted at checkout.

Return & Refund Policy:

Order cancellations are accepted until Hannah begins your order. Cancelling your order will forfeit your spot in her commissions and a refund will be processed within 1-3 business days. Refunds are no longer permitted once Hannah has started to work on your order.

Custom orders are not eligible for returns - Hannah maintains communication throughout the order process and multiple images are sent to ensure you are happy with your piece every step of the way. Appropriate adjustments can be made to your liking at any point in the process right until the finish is applied.

Artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival. If for whatever reason the piece is damaged upon delivery due to courier mishandling, Hannah will try to figure out a resolution to fix your piece or create a new one. Instructions on artwork care will be provided. Hannah Veiga Studio is not responsible for any damaged cause by misuse or mishandling after the artwork has been delivered. You have 2 days from receiving your order to report any damage from transit. Afterwards, compensation will not be permitted by the artist.

Timeline:

Please note, it can take up to 2-3 months for artwork to be complete. Order wait time is based on high volume, your spot in the commissions line and how many pieces are ahead of yours. Each piece is deligently handmade, not by a machine, and lots of love, patience and care is poured into each order. The quality of work will not be jeoprodized to rush an order. If you are wanting the order to be complete by May or June, this cannot be guaranteed but you can order as soon as possible as orders are first come, first served. If you are ordering outside of Canada or the US, please expect slightly longer wait times due to shipping.

Shipping:

Delivery via Canada Post within Canada takes up to 1-7 business days, US orders deliver in 5-10 business days, and International can take 1-3 weeks. Shipping within Canada & the US is covered by Hannah. Local porch pickup in Oakville is available, specify which option you require at check out and please only select order date if it is a gift or needed for a special occasion. ​
