By purchasing from this site, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Copyright and Intellectual Property Notice

All rights to artwork remain the sole property of Hannah Veiga, including after purchase. This includes originals, commissions, prints, and any other current or future reproductions of any kind. Purchase of any artwork by Hannah Veiga does not grant the customer permission to reproduce, sell, or distribute for profit or otherwise unless written permission is granted by the artist.

2. Liability

Hannah Veiga is not liable for any purchased pieces once they are in the possession of the customer. It is not our responsibility to refund, exchange, replace, or compensate for any damage that has occurred to artwork as a result of customer mishandling. This includes but is not limited to incorrect hanging, dropping work, defacing work in any way, fingerprints, staining, dirt, or fading as a result of prolonged exposure to sunlight. The artist provides clear instructions to install work in an area that does not get constant exposure to the sun as UV will darken wood/lighten burns over time. Original and custom work are intended for decoration and display, unless otherwise stated and prepared for.

Hannah Veiga is also not liable for any damage caused by courier mishandling during shipment as she has no control over this. However, if a product has been damaged upon delivery, please contact us with photos of the damage within 24 hours of receiving the order, and we will work with you to find a resolution.

3. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds Policy

3.1 Custom Orders:
Order cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order - once Hannah has started the sketching of your piece, refunds are not permitted. Adjustments and additions to your idea (within reason) can be accommodated right until the piece is finished, but nothing else can be added once Hannah has notified you that the final sealant will be applied. Hannah maintains communication via email throughout the order process and multiple images are sent to ensure you are happy with your piece every step of the way. 3.2 Original Artwork:
This encompasses any artwork within the shop that is not a custom order. These are ready-made, ship-to-order pieces that have been handcrafted and designed by Hannah. Once the order has been shipped, these are final sales and no refunds, exchanges, or returns will be granted based on a change of mind. Accurate sizing, color, wood species, and high-resolution images from multiple angles are provided within product descriptions. If you would like further images or video of the piece before making a decision to purchase, Hannah is happy to provide these and you may request so through email at hannahveiga.studio@gmail.com.

3.3 Order Cancellation (Original Artwork Only)

If you happened to purchase an Original by mistake, you may contact hannahveiga.studio@gmail.com within 1 hour of placing the order to cancel.

4. Shipping Terms

Please allow 5 business days for Hannah to prepare the order for shipment - this timeframe also includes the application of sealant and drying time. Shipment is via Canada Post - within Canada, shipping can take 1-7 business days, USA orders 5-10 business days, and all other international orders up to 3 weeks. This may vary based on time to get through customs and cannot be guaranteed.

5. Duties and Taxes

Hannah Veiga Studio is based in Ontario, Canada, and is not liable for import fees or additional taxes incurred upon delivery for any products purchased. This includes but is not limited to the commissioning of a custom piece, originals, and merchandise.

Any applicable taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total; these are determined within the destination country by the customs agency. Some countries charge import taxes while others do not. If charges are applicable, the customs agency will notify the recipient either upon delivery by notice, mail, phone, or email.

It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any duties, value-added tax, or other similar charges. Customer is subject to additional charges in an item is rejected and requires to be returned to sender. Refunds will not be granted if the item is turned away by the customer upon attempted delivery.

Items are declared at purchase value for exporting, and under no circumstance will documents be falsified. The artist may be required at any time to show your proof of purchase and these numbers are required to match. Falsifying this information risks the artwork being turned away by your country's customs check and returned to sender.
