Woodburning Workshop at Hunnabees Honey Farm
Bring a friend (or just yourself!) and join me for a relaxing afternoon of woodburning at Hunnabees Honey Farm in Millbrook, Ontario, as we create nature-inspired woodburned charcuterie boards.
In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of pyrography (woodburning) while creating your own 9 x 12" live edge charcuterie board featuring a design inspired by wildflowers and pollinators.
We will practice various woodburning techniques, including creating a floral composition, transferring your design, shading, creating texture and adding fine details. Whether you've never picked up a woodburning pen before or have some experience, you'll leave with new skills and a beautiful handmade piece.
Workshop Includes:
- All wood materials: practice board + one approximately 9" x 12" live edge board
- Stencils, design templates, and transfer paper
- Step-by-step instruction
- Mini wood butter to take home
- Option to rent tools or bring your own**
When: Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at 12pm EDT
Location: 1331 Zion Lane, Millbrook, ON, Canada
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly
Duration: Approximately 4 hours

Hunnabees Honey & Co. is a multi-generational family owned honeybee & wildflower farm operated by beekeepers Dave and Keri Nicolaou. Their focus is on promoting ethical and responsible beekeeping through educating beekeepers and the public on helping pollinators thrive. In recent years they have started to host artisanal workshops, and I am thrilled to be hosting this woodburning workshop in their space!
